Evari opinion valladhi. I can't take it easy when it comes to kids, that's all - based on my experiences. My baby who was hospitalized for 17 months grew normally for few months and then the growth was slow compared to her sister. Her could be hard from the other end of the room, she used to sweat a lot from the back of her head and other symptoms. We told our pediatrician and GI specialist and both said that's normal. And we took it easy after that but still concerned. Thanks to her nephrologist who heard something with her heart and we found out her problem in the nick of time, right on her first birthday. Doctors said it was a miracle she survived that long. That's where I come from and I will stick to my opinion. | ||

hello everyone - ikkada chala mandi replies chadivanu..everyone is missing a very important point. as per my knowledge, autism occurs when brain is over loaded with toxins, heavy metals like mercury, lead. whatever we feed them should be free of chemicals, pesitcides, dyes, artifical colors and strict no to packed/junk and fast foods. Mercury and Lead are very bad heavy metals that go into body from vaccines, some plastic toys. I would suggest to delay vaccinations until 5 years of age, we gave our kids until 1 year and stopped after that. For kids with Autism symptoms check out a diet called GAPS diet.this diet has significantly reduced autism in kids. Kids are very precious..give them lots of probiotic stuff like kefir,kombhucha, saurkraute and fresh cooked homemade food free of dyes, colors..organic food recommended. i would be very glad if my post helps atleat 5 ppl here. | ||

My daughter started speaking (proper words) little late...also she used to give pediatrician tough time during visits....she raised an alarm asked if we got any feedback from playschool etc..her point was any of these symptoms they notice in preschool.....there was nothing from preschool.....after that I got little concerned and started google......then every other thing used to create suspicion unnecessarily.....she was perfect just that few things were late than normal...after 3 years.....all perfect.... Do not wnt to generalize but sometimes we tend to worry more even for normal scenarios..all kids might not have same development stages timeframe.......nothing wrong in getting checked buthouldnot worry too much if kid is learning or doing things late........ | ||

Janaalu chaala easy ga cheptuntaru over ga chestaru ikkada ani, it might be true, but we can't take it easy. We have to be careful with the kids. Here, they simply don't classify as ASD. When our pediatrician saw her first, he said it could be normal toddler behavior or these symptoms can be anything not just autism. No eye contact, regression, toe walking and then doing some tests they diagnosed her. You can not be more careful/cautious when it comes to kids. | ||

I got it diagnosed at NIMHANS bangalore by a psychologist, who returned from US. Andhariki easy ye light teesukondi ani cheppatam Whether it's called autism or ADHD...regression is an alarming sign and needs to be checked out. Ikkada autism ki drugs suggest cheyaledhu mari. Only ABA therapy. Some multi-vitamins suggest chesaru India lo and we have our first appointment with a neuro developmental physician soon and will see what they'll have to say. | ||

Regression of anything is an alarming sign. My daughter was doing quite a few things normally. She used to repeat whatever we said, animal sounds, amma, thatha, etc etc. She used to respond to playing hide and seek and other games. When we took her to a store or some place, she used to go and play with other kids. At around 19-20 months of age, we started noticing changes, like, no eye contact, not responding to her name, regression of words etc. And started early intervention, day care etc. Of course, day care did more harm to her than good. | ||
