In fact, better works seems to be happening in Television than movies...the entire line up of movies is so boring, none of them entices one to waste 2-3 hours unless one is on a flight and has nothing better to do....
Django - Tarantino brilliant ga theesthadu, never boring, always stunning to watch, great music, good dialogues... I don't get this 12 years a Slave movie, how can a movie that does not get any Oscar in any other category be called the best movie..i am not even tempted to watch this.. | ||

yup Rush is very good movie. DBC part lu part lu ga chusina complete cheyabuddi kavatla ..Sympathy kanna adoka type sick movie la anipinchindi chuse koddi Blue jasmine is very good movie list lo nenu chusinantha varaku. After having watched many of the Oscar movies this year (barring American Hustle) one key underlying factor uniting most is their lack of entertainment....i feel that Rush was a much better movie - better shot, edited, nice music and above all lovely entertainment...i would anyway prefer a movie like Rush while a movie like DBC makes me feel like i have wasted 2 hours of my life... | ||

Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom - first half eppudo choosa, ippudu second half...bavundhi cinema.. Dallas Buyers Club - good action by leads, but cliched-AIDS-arthouse-Oscar bait Captain Phillips - bavundi movie, but again not worthy of the heaps of the praise that it got A Separation - Iranian Oscar winning movie, nice movie - but found it too long...30mins trim chesthe bavundedhi...and somehow not too enthused by these open ending movies...past that phase when i used to preen in the intellectual elitism that that provides....if the director can't make up his mind, don't ask me to...it does work in a few movies, but somehow found if forced here. |
