Hinduism lo I've not found much significance for 12 but Christianity/bible lo lots of references to 12.... You read so much contradicting stuff as you dwell deeper so only number which makes any sense to me is 42. | ||

Hmm - I was talking about the significance of 12 in the natural cycles - not the mythical ones I wold say mythology used the same factors as all time calculation was done looking at the sky too ..

Ujjain one is more sacred to Vaishnavites while the Prayag one to Shavites. IMO all meals are same just that the Prayag one is given more important owing to more people participating. Why commerating every 12 years at different places?? | ||
