definitely try half's first before planning a full.. during training i carry water.. but also put water at different locations along the running path.. during races water/gatorade will be provided by race org and some races provide energy gels too.. but while training you have to buy energy gels and try them and see how your body responds. su..su kodam portable-potty bins pedataru.. i usually don't go su.su during any run..

It takes tremendous effort to train and get to the starting line. if anyone planning to do marathon.. first they should register atleast 6-7 months ahead and start training.. unless you register you will not train.

I can run 7 mileas per hr comfortably on treadmill. 2 hrs easy ga run chesta...

do you think i can complete marathon. Never tried.. I am running from last 2 years for 30 minutes to 1 hr. High intensity lo 9 miles/10 miles per hour oo 4 minutes run chesta..

treadmill mida unna comfort marathon ki paniki vastada? incline entha pettukuntavu ni practice?

detail ga ettu.. oka poraganni marathon ki encourage chesina vadivi avuthavu


you can easily do it..increase your mileage week over week and plan for atleast 5 months..

I can run 7 mileas per hr comfortably on treadmill. 2 hrs easy ga run chesta...

do you think i can complete marathon. Never tried.. I am running from last 2 years for 30 minutes to 1 hr. High intensity lo 9 miles/10 miles per hour oo 4 minutes run chesta..

Hal Hingdon marathon training plans ani google chestey you'll find numerous links.. customize them to your schedule and type..

you will never run the whole 26 during training.. you will do couple of 20 or 22 miles and one 18 miler, one 15 miler and 3 to 4 13 miles.. but during that last part of your training you'll end up running 35-45 miles/week and 100 miles in a month.. but seriously oka 5 months practice kaavali.

you never run 26 miles while you train. You run atlest 3times/week and build your mielage buy adding 105 every week.
Anybody can do it but the main thing is doing it consistently every week .

i encourage everyone to try do one marathon in their life time.. its an incredible feeling..its not that difficult and helps your health too.. before i started running i had migraine bouts 2,3 times a week.. not i got rid of that.. border line sugar patient.. got rid of that.. BP 110/70 .. inkem kaavali cheppandi.. you don't need exceptional athleticism to run full..you can run at your comfortable pace..

Before run had a bagel with cream cheese.. during run, from 5 miles.. every 5 miles ki Gu ani energy gel dorukutundi.. took it.. and also took endurolytes tablets, basically electrolyte tablets for every 5 miles and had water every 3 miles. I sweat a lot of salt and once during training i became delusional after 16 miles due to lack of salts in the body and to avoid that i took endurolytes tablets.

brothers, you all can do it.. only needed is little patience..if you practice for 3 months, 3-4 times a week and increase your mileage every 2 weeks by 10%.. its easy to do half.. full needs some dedication ... but half can be done easily.

Ghajini type ayyindi.. registered for the marathon from last 3 yrs but could not do it due to injuries.. this time carefully planned but weather didnt permit the race in december and race got cancelled.. immediately signed up for another race on jan 11th and finally completed after 4 un-successful attempts.




This is really great...that you could keep yourself motivated for 4 long years..

Did couple of half marathons in the last 2 years. Completed first one in 1hr 49mins and 2nd one in 1hr 50mins. Plan is to do one full in the next 1 year. Got busy with kids and getting no time to run/practise. Plan is to hit 26.1 in 4hrs.

Was injured a week before the race. Went to physio therapaist and worked. I had doubts on the race..not sure will be able to complete or not..but ran through with pain. It was horrible after 20 miles..but git difficult coz of rolling rolling hills. .but oulled pulled through

once you start running ..winter enti ..summer enti..your extremeties will hurt a bit because of cold weather..but otherwise..it is all normal ani kurrod seppadu..




if you have well maintained track I agree ..well maintained ante regular ga ice/snow cleaning etc ..ikkada problem adhey not teh cold ..anavasaranga skid ayyindho dream chair lo kooda running seyyalem :-)

winter lo ne veasy ani thanksgiving appudu oka kurrod seppad..he is a marathon runner in NJ..planning for NY marathon..

once you start running ..winter enti ..summer enti..your extremeties will hurt a bit because of cold weather..but otherwise..it is all normal ani kurrod seppadu..
