I am suddenly starting to see a lot of comparos in the past 2 days between the young crop and the legends, which I feel is unfair. Dravid, Tendulkar, VVS, Sehwag, etc, have been real legends who have performed admirably & consistently for over a decade and more. It was only in their last few tours tht they really faltered. While the performances have been stunning, It would be too early to say one of the younger crop is better than any of them. We can decide once they too hang up their boots. Till then, Pujara is no Dravid, Kohli is no Sachin & Dhawan no Sehwag! | ||

I agree they did well but look at the ground the matches where held, they were small grounds with good batting surfaces (made for short form of the game). ippudu SA lo ala kadu, full fast pitches untai more over season starting lo pitch tends to help fast bolwers....but lets hope against the hope India does well and wins few games | ||

As I mentioned in my 1st post.... last 8 overseas tests = licked We were always pathetic away from home, but for a while when the fab 5 were at their very best. Pujara, Rohit and Rahane can all handle the longer format. They have the potential, but the tougher part is execution, so let's keep our fingers crossed! That seems to be the trend for all teams except Pakistan and Safrica. Pak because there is no concept of home. Safrica because, pressure at home is higher, so their performance dips and stays at same level as abroad.
