I studied in ICSE, my brother in CBSE...it is the general opinion that ICSE is stronger in English while the sciences are good in CBSE. My kid studies in ICSE. I feel that to a large extent, one should not even worry about it. I just put my kid into a decent school which she got into, i did not even know that it was ICSE until they joined. Anyway in future, there are plans, to merge these 2 central syllabi..there is no sense to have two of them...so manchi school dorikithe join cheyatame... | ||

Trust me wen I say this....standards of CBSE & ICSE are definitely better than SSC. They are more up to date & the methodology is more assignment based compared to SSC, where despite the subjects being good, there is a mad scramble in the schools only for marks & grades which is proving to be a major stumbling block for students in areas of communication, creative thinking & confidence, which I think play the major part in a career. | ||

Either is fine...my kid is into Montessori/icse school. School is affiliated to icse but mode of teaching montessori. No ranks/grade. Only evaluation and report which tells what she learnt,what she is good,where needs improvement in each area including social behaviour etc. You can choose any ..CBSE I think you have more options | ||

hmm ..I would like move my kid to finance ( stocks) side if she permits i felt icse might be good .. but it does not have presence like cbse , state very less number of schools supports it .. | ||
