The brother returned with his friend and stabbed Shahnawaz who called for help from muslims in the area. Some miscreants in the area took this opportunity to settle personal scores, regardless of religion. Akhilesh Singh (son of Mulayam Singh) is soft peddling the issue given the importance of Muslim vote bank in Uttar Pradesh.
