At a time when the entire state is burning over the Centre’s decision to divide the state to form separate Telangana state, there has been not a single word from politically-ambitious young film actors like Junior N T Rama Rao on the issue. Though his father and Telugu Desam Party MP Nandamuri Harikrishna raised a hue and cry over the state bifurcation in Rajya Sabha making a mess of himself, junior NTR has not come out with any stand on the same, despite the fact that he has lots of interest in politics. First of all, he was born and brought up in Hyderabad though he originally hails from Krishna district. So, he cannot speak against Telangana, as he has become a local. At the same time, junior NTR has no option but to go back to his native place if he wants to make an entry into active politics. If he has any plans to contest the elections, he has to nurture a constituency only in coastal Andhra. So, he has to spell out his stand on the Telangana issue, rather than hiding behind his father.
