I was talking about our state alone. We are fooled by the govt that new power plants are for resolving the power crisis in the state but its not so. They are producing power for profit. Why should we allow private thermal power plants which grab fertile and coastal lands for cheap, pollute the environment and in the end, don't even serve the state ? | ||

YSR gave permissions n licenses to more thermal power plants than required. Some are being built on fertile wet lands. If the distribution losses are eradicated, our power crisis will be gone. Instead of doing that, building new power plants isn't the solution. On top of this, these private power plants aren't bound to sell power only to our state. They can sell power throughout India. | ||
