I am a secularist - I do not like religion in government - one civil law for all is important to remove religious sops in politics  UCC removes one reason for division and takes out and excuse for sensationalism - that one religion has more privileges than another.

Modi is in charge of bringing BJP in to Power. Modi would be the person who would be made responsible for Party's manifesto for elections. Modi is the potential PM candidate. I think BJP's priorities have always been right based on the time. Like an ideal political party, It has changed its priorities based on time and changes in the country. India as a growing financial power, UCC is not the biggest concern right now for India and it is not BJP's biggest concern as a nationalist party. Country's problem's first. i agree with you. you are skeptical about indian politics and politicians. i am not surprised. most of the educated indians are not so proud of their current breed politicians..... but india is changing....and its changing very fast.... issues like Telangana are not even a problem if you look from a broader perspective...... whether its modi or rahul.... they will have to embrace and facilitate the transformation.... they have no choice.... | ||
