boku movie. wrote a review in TIDB. Here it is again.. So after reading all these great reviews about this movie, I finally decided to spend my hard earned $12 and watched the movie. 15 minutes into the movie, I really wanted my money back. I guess by now every body knows the story line. Let me tell you a secret. The story line is the story. There is nothing more. This film is supposed to be a "class" movie because the boy and girl live in a city and they are both educated and/or working. And if thats not just enough, they can speak english and the guy can utter 'f" word (with a bleep). So now that makes completely classy. The guy even says to the gal that he feels like he wants to make love to her all the time. I don't know what he(or the director) exaclty meant by that, but as far as i know, it means that he wants to have $ex with her all the time. It kinda makes sense too because there are no leading scenes or conversations between the pair before they fall in love. It's instant Love(lust) at first sight. But you can't complain because they are being honest. Thats what this movie is all about. "HONESTY". They have a simple problem. The gal's father doesn't seem much interested in getting her daughter married to a hindu boy. And to make things less complicated, the girl's dad is not a factionist or or a rich guy or a highly influential person. So instead of sitting together and figure out how to solve this simple problem, they confuse each other and confuse the audience with silly conversations(the conversations are supposed to be cute cuz, the girl has this "lady one the phone $ex" voice and wears simple sarees). So they bore us to death for the rest of the movie and they too get bored and decide to get married anyways. They neither overcome their problems nor find a solution but they just say "What the fcuk" and get married. | ||

I agree....it can be more justified by saying "jessie christian ammayi" "Karthik Hindu abbai" .... Marriage between 2 different religions is impossible.... 2. Why would girl would always be a victim here..who is forced to stop talking to his guy...when they both like each other before & after break-up's????? | ||

I think jessie-karthik breakup can't be justified imho... It didn't create any impact.... What do you think? |
