same thing happened with my cousin in india. they took some insurance policy+fund for kids education...it was for 3yrs....investment. after 3yrs whatever they invested they are getting almost the same after the fund management fee/commission etc. i have to wait and see how the fund will be like after few years.  nannu involvecheyakandi sir | ||

smartkid...i choose 5yrs...yrly payments. since it is for kids education...u know how it works (when in 10th class...etc). The other one is one time (single investment plan). i did it for long term...i have no plans to take any money out of it. no more payments required...but i can add more if i want (no penalty assessed). based on the fund performance...i get the returns when i want. nannu involvecheyakandi sir | ||

rajugaru...nenu teesukunna smartkid insurance + Fund type. it has 3.4% guaranteed addition + investment returns if any (current returns is 30% for the last 10 years...so expecting at least 6-10% in the worast case). so adi matter...i saw the brochure for the same above info. so it is not a simple insurance policy and agent also mentioned the same thing that was in the brochure... not sure if the agent cheated me or not..but it looks like i do not have simple policy nannu involvecheyakandi sir | ||
