being directly selected into India team was a bit lucky..but India is lucky to have him as well....so it worked both ways...for sachin and India... yes...initial days lo Gavaskar and Mumbai clout shielded Sachin and gave him that overall stage to start off....and then.....he never looked back ..as he is born with it..... Pakisthan lanti prestigious series ki theesuku vellatam......yes......we are struggling then to find players....sachin is over qualfied....and quantified (by Gavaskar) to pick him up Rohit cannot compare....but we cannot put his performances and batting aside at all.....this guy is a ODI legend.....he scores with that ease and its not just to do with fielding restrictions.....he score freely cleaaring the boundaries too......simply superb......###both sachin and Rohit are lucky charms for their respective captains to have in the team they lead....
