Visited shirdi 2wks ago.flew from.chennai. 1.5hr flight.. Stayed at Sai palace express. They also have Sai palace budget hotel which is very close to the temple. More pricey though. Check their website. Decent accommodation for 1500/day . They provide complimentary breakfast...south Indian style.. They also have a Restaurant close to the temple..which was good. Went to Triambakeswar for a day trip.very poor temple maintenance for such an important place.. Talk to the Hotel manager . They have contacts for travel people for day trips.. negotiate flat rates. Paid 2500 for Ertiga 2nd day visited Ellora caves... Roads are horrible yaa. BJP GOVT in...Fadnvis gaa..pandi naayaalaa..yendiraa Aa roads..thupuk..AP TN roads 100times better.. | ||

Shiridi darshan should not take more than 1 hour. If you are going to Nasik, also go to Trimbakeshwar. Krushna Inn Restaurant is very good place to stay in Trimbakeshwar and by the way Nashik falls between trimbakeshwar and Shiridi. Shani temple is on the other side of Shiridi and there will be plenty of cabs that will do a round trip for a reasonable cost. There are literally 100s of places to stay in Shiridi that should not be a problem | ||

Never been to shirdi. Visiting tomorrow. Plan to visit nasik and siganapur. Can someone has information on which temples to visit and where to stay. Will be there two days in total. Thanks |
