i dont think a reserve day for each match needs to be planned.. i think a schedule for reserve games can be planned.. and these reserve games can be any of the washed out games.. assuming a worst case of 20% games being washed out.. reserved days for about 2o or 25% can be planned.. and floating schedule for those days can be prepared as the series progresses... most games make money on streaming anyways... so i wouldnt think it would be much a loss... | ||

However, as per weather forecast, the rain is likely to subside by lunch time on Thursday which means at least a curtailed game remains a possibility. There have been persistent showers across United Kingdom for the past two days and the local Met department has issued a warning for the residents. The Met office's warning on its website covered a large area of England, including Birmingham, Peterborough and Newcastle. "There is a chance that heavy prolonged rain could lead to localised flooding and disruption to transport," it said. As per local Met Office weather forecast for Nottingham, the heavy rain will continue till 7pm on Wednesday. "That lighter rain is expected to finally come to an end at about lunch time on Thursday. Teams ki Gap in between games sarigga plan chesi, they could have planned a reserve day in a way that it doesnt impact the team fatigue/travel/practice. Yes we cant predict rains/weather. But in such an important tournament lo ila wash out ayithe too bad for the future of this ICC event. We cant compare with Wimbelodon as that only requires 3-4 hours at the most without rain. | ||

i think that is one of the reasons for that roundrobin format.. the longer format, helps a little with unpredictability of playing conditions.. yes, its pretty frustrating.... actually there is enough gap between each teams games.. so i think it would have been easier to come up with alternate playing day... for washed out games.. | ||
