Great guy and talent. But he fell off the cracks in the last 3-4 years. Could not catch up with youngsters. He did not get a chance even in the recent IPL with all his buddies around in MI. I am sure he knows that. There is no way he fits into the current team. Thats the reality. May be BCCI could have planned a farewell match and managed his exit well. Suddenly felt I became old when I heard yuvi hanged his boots eventhough I know its inevitable. I was 12 when he made his debut in international cricket.Probably only prominent cricketer who was in teens made his debut for india before I entered mine .That is the reason why I got connected to him than Zaheer khan who also debuted along with him. Still remember his debut innings against australia..swashbuckling 84 and that wonderful run out of micheal bevan who was on verge of stealing victory from India.
