Colleges PERSONAL STATEMENTS ni kshunnam gaa chusthaay and they very clearly give some weightage to applicants who went through a lot of hardship, had to overcome a lot of personal situations in coming that far! Say an applicant in his/her personal statement says he/she would be the first persons in their family to attend college or an applicant says in personal statement that he/she are in foster care or say an applicant says her dad killed her mom and is in jail....all these would be given additional preference! I am not sure when colleges already doing this why College Borad need to do this!! | ||

Its alright we can test it out and see....okappudu nenu pani chese lab lo iddaru under grads vunde vaaallu oka desi ammayi, oka tellodu...desi ammayi parents doctors, she does not work and had never worked in her life....kurchoni chaduvukovadame pani....parents take care of everything else.....thellodu works 2 jobs and attends school...apply to rich thellollu also...but vaallu kuda koncham work chestharu...so its ok anukuntunna. | ||

Universities already look at diversity in giving admissions. Why does SAT need to do the same or in addition to it? It looked like another form of reservation system to me. These systems should not punish kids with better scores because of their race. | ||
