What is this comedy bedaru...night king y3dho veerudu kathhi gaani padithe ani vuhi chukunte yettaa...every dead person fighting there is night king fighting...it is almost dawn, winterfell lo almost andaruuu cornered and overwhelmed....andaru tired, surrounded and helpless...snow gaadu ka occhu, rypts lo kavacchu....all that is night king and it could not end any better. | ||

How about this... Instead of Berrick and Hound saving.. Arya.. it is Jon who saves Arya, while looking for NK, and while doing that.... he gets hurt.. and comes face to face... ice dragon... and asks Arya to go to Bran... Arya .. then collects herself.. and goes through the same sequence.. The thing is.. usually when an underdog delivers the kill.. we are almost shown the sequence from the eyes of underdog.. or we are locked on underdog.. thats what makes it thrilling to us... show runners here deliberately... hid Arya from our sight... that makes it not so believable.. or does not deliver the same impact... | ||

Not exactly the way he was killed.. but the whole concept or impact of Night King in this episode is rather disappointing(for me) Firstly, Night King ki oka back story missing.. like he himself is Bran ani kondari theory, he must be the Mad King ani kondaru(coz he rides a dragon like a Targaryen and cannot be killed with fire).. Fans ke ekkuva creativity vundemo :P Wildlings vs Night's Watch appudu we saw Ygritte dying which made us very sad(even though the Night's Watch won the battle).. Battle of Bastards lo Rickon ni champeyadam kuda koncham baadha kaliginchindi.. ee episode lo, where the opponent is even more powerful, kalichivese okka purugu kuda chanipoledu.. | ||

I was expecting the same... that on rewatch most people will like it how it turned out..or atleast think it isnt that bad. It is sort of time tested formula .. when the opponent is way above your strength, it always boils down to single shot from underdog... ala, Death star destruction from single exhaust port in the first starwars movie. However, what did not help GOT, is all the prophecies, all the theories surrounding who Azhor Ahai is, who NK is.. how powerful Bran is... it seemed like there were too many ways for the NK to go down.. but i was always believed ... legends and prophecies are not just reliable... in real world and in GOT.. but the shows story line really had two options.. 1) Jon Snow - he looked like the perfect choice.. A song of ice and fire... the combination of ice(stark) and fire(targ)... back from the dead... the azhor ahai.. the one dipped his sword.. in his wife..here jon actively knew he was going to kill love of his life.. egritte.. 2) Arya - who has trained for years to become a deadly assasin, trained with the best in business... and living by Jon's simple first lesson.. stick'em with the pointy end. Some people believed it could be Dany ... but i dont think it could have been her.. and infacct she tried her best to get NK killed... when she realized dragon fire can do squat... there is nothing much else she could do. I think another thing, people might be upset are that.. for all the power NK, he did not actually the "living" team did not lose any main characters.. here is where the show writers could have probably induced some more dramatic effect.. by killing off more characters... Audience were waiting for some smart reveal of history of NK, or Bran that would help NK get killed... Show just did not towards that side... anyway .. this might be one of the episodes that will always have a division. | ||

Overall, I think the show episode was good. Antha super super antunte, nenu anali ani mazboori e ledu kani, nakithe normal gane anipinchindi mostly because of how dark it was except for when all the sowrds lit up at once and how the ring of fire was up preveting the walkers from omving in and the most important was the piono music for Night gadu..It just evelated his fierceness. | ||

"The Long Night" shall remain one of the most debated episodes on GOT for sure. When viewed standalone, it's an all time great episode. It's only when you view in context of the books and get in the 'Azor Ahai' theory, do u feel a lil disappointed with the Night King gone. But then again, it somehow seems logical too, as Arya Stark is the only character who has dedicated her life to be an Ex Machina Assassin. Right from her training with her first teacher Syrio, her adventures with The Hound, and to her Ultimate training in the House of White and Black with the Faceless Man, she has literally perfected the art of killing. Dany evolved into a conqueror, Jon evolved into a leader, but it was only Arya who evolved into an Assassin. If there was one person in whole of Westoros who could have sneaked up on death itself and made the double hand switch even while in deaths grip and made the Killing Blow....It cud have only been Arya Stark. Now in retrospect, every scene and every training Arya had, has a much impactful meaning, as if she trained and became what she is now....for that one perfect moment....Killing the Night King. It's poetic and in my humble opinion too, one of the best episodes of GOT ever. That BGM alone is worth to make it a classic. And Frankly, the Night King was a force of Nature. I don't think you could continue fighting with such a force of Nature for 2 long episodes in a row....it wud hav gotten monotonous and like Walking Dead Ver.2.0 The focus is now on the people and politics again in GOT....and that's where it shines the best. | ||

emo.. I didn't like the episode though.. being dark isn't a problem for me.. It all the more made sense for it to be dark as the episode itself was called "The Long Night". Added to that, it is not just us but also the people there who weren't able to see anything. manamu kuda feel ayye laaga chesaadu.. What I didn't like/get excited about is the fact that how easily the Night King was killed. For all the hype since 1st season 1st episode, there should've been some purpose and some damage on the living.. antha faalthoo gaallani champukuntuu vellipoyaadu.. not that effective for me.. | ||

Best in TV-world till date... first to last awesome....first time i saw in daylight...its too dark to undertsand anything.... yesterday night i saw again...this time full dark room at night....deenamma....its a true marvel....aa BGM ayite peaks....quality adurs....how much they spent for this episode ??...bigger than baahubali... Capacity vundi, laziness, and uninspired life is a waste of time. YOLO kada.... But experiences is how you bring meaning to life. Worthiness should be earned with adequate efforts. |
