Yes. It is not in the Bill but that certainly those promises helped passing the Bill. That's what I meant. Adhemi Veedi Panchayathi kaadu ga, It's the Parliament where PM of India made a promise and the opposition party BJP said they don't mind making it 10 years also. The Government must certainly take responsibility of that promise. If not as a Status, atleast in some other form. | ||

The Government of India passed a Bill using words "Special Status". Both Ruling party and Opposition approved it. Once a Bill is passed, It is the Law and the Government must fulfill it. How can they say it can't be done very conveniently. UA and Rayalaseema are still backward districts. If not for the Entire state, Packages/Incentives can easily be given to the districts. | ||

And the most important thing.....Apart from our Telugu Eminent personalities, some of the top national level Economists, Analysts and intellectuals were a key part of the report finding. Prof. Yogindher K Alagh, Prof. Shanmugham, Dr. Atul Sharma, Dr. Govinda Rao....All these are absolute stalwarts!! They are greats in Finance/Economics and Planning Commissions. And to add to them, you had our own: Jayaprakash Narayan, Undavalli Arun Kumar, Prof K Nageshwar, activist Krishnaswamy, The advisors are Justice Gopal Gowda, Dr IYR Krishna Rao and Dr Padmanabhayya. The invitees include Konathala Ramakrishna (YSR Congress Party), K Ramakrishna (CPI), P Madhu (CPM), Janga Gowtham (Congress), Gidugu Rudraraju (Congress) and Chalasani Srinivas. How can we ignore a Report which has been devised and finalised by such absolute greats and now simply state that IYR has a different opinion now??? In the very report, except for a couple of points, JFFC has put the ball in Centre's court for literally every other point. 74k Crores are the Promises but yet to be received net funds which is clear from the table. The same has be resolved at the earliest between Centre and State is what was recommended. Out of this nearly 50k Crores is non negotiable and doesn't even include Polavaram figures. Let us not try to justify Centre not able to fulfill what has been rightfully been promised to us. Let them release the funds on war footing and then AP public shall question state govt. If they fail in implementation. Jst beating around the bush by not releasing adequate funds doesn't help anyone. | ||

But ppl still feel they gave a favourable report towards the AP CM??? This report has nothing to do with Modi or Babu or PK even.
