I used to file FBAR myself earlier but last 2 years nundi na CPA ne file chesestunnadu as I always take filing extension here every year. I file my taxes in India first and then file my US taxes around July/Aug time | ||

It's not deposit amount... anytime (even for a single second, to clarify Bunty babu statement) if you have a total worth of $10k in banks outside US then you need to report it in FBAR | ||

sure FBAR does not only mean $10k deposit in bank account But also applies if you are holding mutual funds,stocks,fixed deposits,bonds and ..even if the value individually is less than $10k, but all aggregate over $10k | ||

Yes. Once it reaches over approximately 7 Lakhs in each account. If you don't want to file, you can transfer 6 lakhs to each account and transfer them out.
