very sad, we are fortunate to be born in south states, UP and Bihar are worst states especially for women. That MLA was in SP and BSP before, But BJP is the culprit in this case. That MLA should have arrested by now and put into Jail. This is really sad, after seeing these type of incidents, I stop thinking of going back to India. Unnao, Uttar Pradesh: The father of a 16-year-old girl, who alleged rape by a BJP lawmaker in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao, died of shock and septicemia, his postmortem report has revealed. The 50-year-old man was brutally beaten up by the politician's brother and his men last week. But despite his grave injuries, he wasn't admitted to the hospital. Instead he was arrested and placed in custody on a complaint by his daughter's alleged rapists. The girl has alleged that she was raped by Unnao lawmaker Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his brother last year. Whenever her family tried to file an FIR or First Information Report, they were threatened, and last week Sengar's brother Jaideep, also known as Atul, thrashed her father. Later, the father was arrested and sent to jail. Late Sunday evening, when he complained of abdominal pain, he was taken to the district hospital, where he died yesterday. The autopsy report said that a perforation in the intestine led to infection and death. "When the patient was brought here, his intestine had been damaged due to a colon rupture. Following an infection, he went into shock and later passed away. As per our investigation, the cause of death is shock and septicemia due to peritonitis and ascending colon perforation," Chief Medical Officer (CMO) SP Chaudhary said. |
