Simba cheppinattu, you need constantly work on improving. After a gap of few months, I have started again and learning new things, which made me realize the limitations of entry level SLRs like t3i. But still, my goal is to learn and practice as much as possible with t3i before moving to the next level.

I've seen some great pictures taken with XSi as well not to say that that will suffice :-)

In a way u r right....pics from lumia series are terrific....but they dont match SLR's....EOS 41mp model will make all the cheap cameras other than SLR's obsolete

whts ur take on t3/t4i vs d3200 specs wise....do u rate d3200 a mid to high end and t3i an entry level?

All are entry level offerings. Usually canon has more bells and whistles whereas you need to go little high up in Nikon to get these.

If you are going to buy one of this and happily live ever after, go with Canon. If you have plans to spend time, research, upgrade in future, go with nikon.

Simba:

Once you move to mid-to-high end DSLR cameras, Nikon is superior. It costs more on the glass but worth investment. Typical desis, buy a Canon under great deal, let it collect dust and do not venture upgrading to better camera. Hence, the dominance of Canon over Nikon.

mana desi circle antha Canon T3i.....any reasons....

Entry level DSLRs are better from Canon offerings compared to Nikon. Plus, Canon gives lot of package deals on entry level which attracts Desis. For us, we need to score a good deal than actually using the camera.

For prosumers to professionals, the story is entirely different.
