I de-valuate life .. if possible set/reset it to zero .. I am still trying .. and sometimes successful .. sometimes not .. but I am fine with that .. will continue to do this as long as I can .. even if I cannot .. thats fine .. no big deal ..

- CCDB
- Talking to close friends / hanging around them for drinks, dinner
- long walks
- a smoke
- watch nice old feel good telugu movies; like Ahaa naa pellante etc.

believe me guys when you get ambitious u try to get more stressful...

Hobbies release stress.

For me, there is always some work/research pending in my area of interest... home theater, networking, photography, movies etc. You got to find your own hobby.

Non-hobby activities include: house-keeping, some inspirational reading, cooking, shopping. I may sound odd, but I like clean my house spotless. Lot of my weekend hours are spent on cleaning home, decorating, re-arranging furniture :-)

1. Meditation/Yoga
2. Movies
3. Cigs/Beer (less life span )
4. Cooking
5. Pending tasks cause stress.
6. Assume good intentions from everyone around you - nobody is out to get you
7. Don't sweat the small stuff - mistakes happen from you and others - learn and move on..
8. Give your best and be happy with that - forget what others think- you cannot please everyone all the time
9. Priorities - understand why you are doing something instead of something else and be at peace with that choice (.. going by priority basis one task at time)
10. Most important : get enough sleep
11. Regular Running
12. Take Medication for extreme stress
13. It’s all in your mind.. Unless mindset changes nothing can help...
14. Expectations vs. Reality are the root cause of stress. When reality is way different from one's expectations, one's passion starts to darken, and reveals it's ugly side as stress. One may be able to go on passionately and successfully realize all of their expectations, but the levels of passion built-up eventually could lead to huge amounts of stress too.
15. Expectations and an understanding of ground realities could be driven by several multiple factors - genes, biological build-up, circumstances, experiences and perceptions, and a whole lot other. stress is part of our lives ..i think stress management is very important thing . i do meditation kind of stuff .. still i feel i need to handle that better way .. would like to know from the DB'ers .. how they manage stress



to be frank....ccdb also reduces stress.....konni comedy threads choosi oka range lo navvukunte ...all set....
but yeah time management, sleeping on time.....eating good food within limits will help ...add to it some breathing exercises and treadmill

I look at the options available and take the next best option - simple :-)

There are very few things you have no alternatives- serious illness for e.g.- appudu definitely serenity prayer helps to look at the problem from another angle:-)

im in market but market trigger triggered anxiety... for me talking in meetings triggers... mostly kind of social anxiety...

This is why I don't take meds. For some people anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds make the symptoms worse...are you working with a psychiatrist and changing your dosage?

It's all finding out what your "triggers" are (what exactly causes anxiety) and managing them. Meditation has worked for me, but my symptoms aren't as severe as yours.

Anyway, hope you can find a way to deal with anxiety. It's a :-(

naa symptoms anni heart attack ku vache symptoms... chest, left arm discomfort, dizziness... thats why i am scared when ever i hear these kinda news...

already been to ER 3 times and every year i will have blood work, ECG, Stress test, Echo done but still i worry when i year these kinda news...

For me they're different. I have diagnosed issues with anxiety too (though I don't take meds) and I feel different when I'm stressed out...compared to anxiety
