Boston... ------- - be accessible to ur constituency ppl - listen and respond to their problems carefully. - have good will & relatively clean record. - for electioneering, keep strong network. peddireddy fits the bill perfectly in all these things. not much corruption allegations. ----------- Looks like you are right as he keeps winning and I haven't heard any corruption allegations on his as you said. Anyway, a good candidate needs to win. The BEST way to measure any elected person's performance is VISIBLE development. That is the reason I was asking. | ||

brother.. meeremo devolopment dev antaru... mana daggara ppl representatives ante mla matrame kadu... local bodies unnaru, mp untaru, dist incharge minister untaru.. cm unnadu.. yevadi range lo solve cheyalsina problems vallu cheyali... right from keeping roads clean & providing clean drinking water to industries dev, roads & rail connectivity etc... as mla, is he doing the best he can.. i.e., raising problems of ppl to corresponding ppl all the time... for this, all that u need is COMPASSION. - be accessible to ur constituency ppl - listen and respond to their problems carefully. - have good will & relatively clean record. - for electioneering, keep strong network. peddireddy fits the bill perfectly in all these things. not much corruption allegations. had his own businesses running smoothly, may be leveraging his power to get some contracts here and there. able to maintain strong network without need to do much corruption. secondly, chithor lo feudal system anthaga emi undadu. especially, punganuru, pileru, palamaneru lanti well developed places lo. Let us talk abt PEDDIREDDY Ramachandra Reddy...he first got elected in 1989 from PILERU! 1983, 1985 TDP won that seat and as in many segments where CONG won PEDDIREDDY won PILERU in 1989...which was no bid deal! Than he lost in 1994 which again no big deal as almost all of the state TDP won!! Let us analyze from 1999! PILERU segment consisted of PILERU, ROMPICHERLA, BAKARAPETA, SOMALA, SADUM Mandals and out of these SADUM being PEDDIREDDY's own mandal he maintained HUGE HUGE majority there. In PILERU TDP had GV SRINADH REDDY as leader (Who is TDP MLA from the segment once)...this SRINADH REDDY considered to be a gentle and dignified leader and with his family grip PILERU Mandal they continously held LEAD! BAKARAPETA, ROMPICHERLA always majorities reversed between parties! Now comes SOMALA...ee mandal lo mana PEDDYREDDY Nayano Bhayano bedirncho bathimaalo LEAD maintain chesthunnadu! Ee story mottam 1999, 2004 elections di! Ika 2009 elections lo ReOrg lo he came to PUNGANURU (As his SADUM came to PUNGANURU)...TDP kharmaniki ReOrg lo TDP strong segments velli poyi PUNGANURU candidate jumped to PALAMANERU and ee PUNGANURU lo party ki candidate lekunda poyadu! Politricks ------------ Between 1989-To Date lost in just one election (1994)! ------------ There are FEW leaders in the state who are VERY strong in their areas and keep winning continuously. I have a question regarding THESE leaders. Did any of these leaders did ANYTHING to DEVELOP their elected areas? Are there any visible/significant DEVELOPMENT in their regions? If NOT why do they keep getting elected? and how do they get that much clout? As far as I know, YSR did LOT of Development ONLY after he became CM. Until that time, that area was very under developed, but still he kept on getting elected. Coming to CBN, I don't think he DID anything for Chandragiri, but did a LOT to Kuppam, and that too after he became CM. Can anyone explain how these SO CALLED leaders keep getting elected even when their areas are seriously underdeveloped? | ||
