there is no price for 24k gold in India it is only 22k in any store in India...they only sell 22k for any ornament made...if you are exchanging 24k gold here to 22k gold same weight in India it is huge loss for you..I'm talking about buying 24 k gold here and exchanging with 22k readymade ornament... | ||

if you know a trusted goldsmith...they will do it for only 5-7% making charges...just take pure gold to him and he will make valuable ornamet but they may not make beautiful models and designs as you find in big stores...big stores are always risky...if you have no time and choice buy them in good stores | ||

Gotcha...say you take 5 gold bars 24k from here ...5*31 = 155 gms 24k gold...India lo it is always 22k gold + stones (if on the gold ornament) + making charges (ranges between 12 - 17%)....for each 100gms of 24k pure gold they will add 16gms of brass and make it 22k of gold + total weight...so 155 gms of 24 k = app 175 gms of 22k gold If you are buying a gold ornament 175 gms of 22k gold + making charges applies. now big stores like kalyan/josalukas add their 12- 17% making charges and sell them...you have to do the calculation and negotiate mind you there is lot of demand for 24k gold in India | ||

Canadian maple is the best...most ppl go with it...make sure it is .999 pure 24k gold written on the bar...if you are taking them toi india go to trusted gold store here and that guy will make them as bangle but make sure before and after the weight is the same...they will easily cheat you...I lost 2 gms of gold once as that guy said it will be taken off by the machine as being twisted...that shoul;d not be the case...India lo you have to be very careful while dealing with exchange,,,do full research | ||

usually people buy gold coins and exchange them for same worth of jewellery at the time of exchange. i don't recommend giving coins to jeweller and asking them to make jewellery with same coins. buy .9999 pure gold coin. | ||
