Whose fault it is if ONE is living in POORI GUDISA. Generally it is his/her own fault and the governments fault.
As I said, Vysya's are not ACTIVE in politics and I beleive they should be MORE inclusive when it comes to helping other caste poor and involve more actively in politics.
To give an example, first generation of political crop after the independence, there were 15% (or 5%, I am not sure of the percentage) Vysyas in the politics. As politics kept deteriorating, Vysya's kept a distance from it as they couldn't go with the trend. |

Reason is - they are very very dharmic in their life (Raju laki inka konni vyasanaalu undatam chusa inka, but not Vysyas) .. and philosophy, false prestige lantivi ekkuva oka section of Brahmins ki .. but Vysyas are the best .. down to earth .. go about doing their duty .. protect their culture .. chala mild natured .. chala chala positives unnayi anipistayi .. obviously this is prone to some aberrations .. but thats not the rule but only exception!

For me it is like following:

Just like it is impossible for one house owner to go and clean the entire street, it is not possible one caste to take care of every caste people as there will be limited money/resources to take care of everyone. |

Whoever spends from their own pockets, generally they tend to help their own relatives, community, place in that order.

Even I feel the same way, but I think as long as they are helping someone, it is better than helping no one right?
No one is PERFECT and Vysya's also are NOT perfect, but I know for fact that they really help poor in their community. Charity by this group is AWESOME.
Hopefully they expand this to ALL the needy instead of their own community. |

As a member of this community, I have GOOD opinion about Vysya groups. As far as I know, they mind their own business and tries to help poor people from their community.
Mostly Vysya's lo papabheethi yekkuva. Generally beleive in god and charity.
Chinna Chinna kakkurthi panulu chesina, majority of them don't do big time crimes. Generally hard working people and not actively involved in politics.
While it is not a good idea to divide among ourselves on communal/caste/religion lines, it is NOT bad if they are done purely helping the needy people even if it is in your own community. |
