Many people might not be knowing of one small secret of the Congress High Command. The High Command every now an then conducted small surveys in major states every now and then to gauge the mood of the people. The results of such surveys are never released to the public and are valiable only for internal assessment for the High Command. Sources in the High Command have indicated that such a survey was done recently to gauge the mood of the Andhra Pradesh. The survey was done as if Jagan formed his own party. The survey results indicate that if the elections are conducted now, no party will get the majority. The Congress and the TDP will get almost the same number of seats (around 90-100 each). The seats of the TRS will rise to around 30-40. Incidentally the survey showed that YS Jagan's party (if it is formed) will get around 40-60 seats. Most of his party seats are from Andhra and Rayalaseema. And if this is the situation, then Jagan would be the kingmaker and any government has to form with his support and he can even bargain for the CM post! Support for YS Jagan mostly comes from the Andhra and the Rayalaseema region and the survey indicates that the people here are looking to Jagan to save them from Rosaiah's incapability of handling the Telangana situation.
