portugal always been a good team since 2000...they had figo then n now ronaldo two class acts....they faced a prime zidane in 2000 euro n they lost in semis i guess...in 2002 world cup they got robbed n cheated by s koreans....in 2004 euro they reached euro finals but that greek team was in for a dream run n somehow they lost dont rememebr why....in 2006 world cup again they were lookin good but they faced zidane again in semis...very tough to be a portugese fan...they always come so close | ||

Chile is almost thru with 2 wins .. -- how come? Swiss can beat honduras easily...they are better team and they will be with 2 wins as well.... Portugal have a habit of doing this.... flamboyant....stylish.....in one match.... pretty damp in an another.... Germany for me should bounce back.... Spain will make a comeback.....Italy would struggle.....but they are famous for their scraping through with 1-0 wins.... FRance is almost gone now....England on the verge.... haha Nkorea got raped....I think the first game in world cup is always tough for any team as they have to get together n start playin as a team which they r not that used to doin in a high stake tournament so often....portuagl is back...7-0 is too much...the nkorea lost 1-2 to brazil...the last match between brazil n portugal going to be interesting....but portugese look very good....so far portugese n argentina n brazil playing up to their standards... Italy is struggling....but they r always slow starters...french team is gone...they dont have any pride...unless they discover another platini or zidane i dont see them making any statements in big tournies for ever.... england vs slovenia is going to be the match of the tournament so far...so much at stakes for that game.... |
