Verdict: DISASTER (1.50/5.00)

My expectations:

As everyone else, I have a special place to Vamsi and Ilayaraja combo movies. Well the very thought that the movie is releasing with the combo after so many years, excited me. I strongly believed that it would be a slow one to strike chords with the normal audience.
My view:

The story unravels in typical vamsi style. A journalist who goes to cover Veerappan's death, happens to tape where Veerappan, has stacked away the money. The journalist on the verge of death himself reveals the whole story to the hero and gives him the tape. Well how the hero loses his companions in the pursuit of the wealth and what happens next forms the rest of the story.

The screenplay is haphazard with the story to be blamed a lot. The heroines, more of vamp look-alikes though, makes the things worse. The comedy is slapstick. No real funny moments. The movie doesnt stick to one point or a single story. Vamsi needs to take the beating for his slapdash work. The first murder takes place in the second half, from here starts the plight, the movie is filled wth so many chases and murders that you would want to leave the theatre. You would rather choose to stay back for the climax where the main villian is revealed. This is quite predictive but i dont want to spoil ur fun by revealing it here.

Artists and Technicians
:

Ilayaraja, here is a man who never disappoints, never stops creating wonders with music, bringing life into every movie he does with his background score. He lives upto his expectations. He has done a tremendous job. The songs are filled with ample melody, for you to savour every bit of the song. If you expected a Vamsi of Sitara, April 1st Vidudala, Ladies Tailor and many more, then you have in store for a big disappoint. He lost his touch. The flavour is missing. You would inturn thank him for making a movie of just 2hrs.

Aryan Rajesh is ok. Heroines are $(&^%&^%_$#%$^&)(&&^. Sometimes symbols say it more than what words can.

Box Office Prediction:

With bad openings, i sincerely doubt if it can be a hit movie. Well, i dont think the audience are that jobless to let the movie torture them. The movie is sure to end up as a loss venture, atleast for the distributors, as the movie is a low budget movie.

Verdict as a reviewer:

The movie has very less chances of become a hit. Moreover these kind of stories and movies did well earlier. Its time Vamsi needs to change his style atleast in penning the story and screenplay should improve by leaps and bounds. Dont let anyone tell you who the main villian is. That is the only surprising element in the movie.
