Story Screenplay and Direction:

Annavaram (Pawan Kalyan) loves his sister Varalakshmi(Sandhya) very much. For her to lead a better life he gets her married to Siva Balaji from city. But on the otherhand she starts to face lot of problems from the local goons and also Annavaram looses one of his close friends Venu Madhav who apsires to make it big by going to Dubai. How Annavaram decides upon eliminating rowdyism from city without his sister's knowledge and how he finally succeeds forms most part of the second half.
The story is a routine one but the treatment is excellently done. The screenplay in the first half drags a bit but in the second half it is edge of the seat fare. Bheemaneni's direction reminds you of a mass director unlike his family oriented image.

Photogrpahy: Sethu Sriram, who is an assistant to PC Sriram, did an excellent job. His work in the action sequences is worth mentioning though tamil nativity is evident from his work.

Dialogues: Abburi ravi once again recreates the magic he has shown in Bommarillu. His dailgoues have helped a lot in elevating the scenes in second half.

Artists's Performance:

Pawan Kalyan: Pawan's performance is exceptional. He has shown his multi dimensional acting talents. His action in fight sequences and the lead scenes therein is first rate. His action in sentimental scenes is also excellent. Especially the scene where Venu Madhav dies and the scene in the burial ground. Full marks to the director for bringing out the best in him. Pawan has done some excellent dance sequences in the movie and special mention to Lucia song is inevitable here.

Sandhya: She did complete justice to her role. A perfect find and she is very lovable.

Asin: She doesnt fit in here. Restricted only to songs and telangana slang has made things worse.

Others: Nagendra Babu and Brahmaji did an excellent job.

Positives: The action episodes and challenging scenes in the second half are canned much better than the Tamil version. Dances in the second half is another highlight. Artists performace is added asset to the movie.

Negatives: Pretty lengthy movie - almost 3 hrs, Lack of entertainment in first half, Music in songs was a let down on screen for a couple of songs.

Tirupachi vs Annavaram: The feel in the first half is missing in Annavaram. Improvements should have been done to first half by adding entertainment.

How is the Movie: First half is average with sentiment and some good performances by the artistes. The tempo of the movie builds just before the interval scene and is maintained through out the second half. Asin scenes in the second half are an exception, they were really breakers to the flow. Fans would with no doubt be satisfied to the fullest with this movie.

Final Verdict: The fans' long wait is over. This is a visual treat to fans who are waiting for a hit from Pawan since Khushi. General Audiences will also like the movie as the sentiment in the first half is good. If entertainment in first half is taken care of well this movie would have done more wonders at box office. But nevertheless it is a HIT for sure.
