The logic in the movie goes to airs. The script is scribbled. The music is troubled! That’s the fact. Whether this is carelessness or over confidence we don’t know but the movie irritates. This movie stands as 1 st worst in Siddarth’s career and 2 nd worst in MS Raju’s career. What took MS Raju two years to come up with Aata is still not clear.
Artists and Technicians:
No one can be given the front seat. Sorry! I forgot Ileana …her sensual look is the highlight of the movie. Generally people say “the heroine acted nicely “but in this movie people say” the heroine was displayed nicely”. Sid was the lucky guy with two smooches.
Now lets move on to MS Raju. the disaster was caused maybe MS Raju dint watch Gudumba Shankar or Venkatesh films. "Audience watch my films no matter how I make them" attitude should have left MS Raju after Pournami but it does not appear so. This film is a 2 and half hour illogical-stretcher.
I hope devi was asked to induce some variety to his songs unlike previous films. The problem is the songs are too different. Except aata and hoyna…the others are a let down.
Chota K. Naidu shines only in the songs but disappoints the rest of the movie. Paruchuri bros are just for name -sake.
Box Office Prediction:
Maybe aata was ‘play-safe’ as it was released with less number of prints. Audience also played safe without much fan-fare. But I doubt distributors will be safe. Next time MS Raju should do more homework on the script to be safe. If you avoid the movie you shall be safe!
Verdict as a reviewer:
2007 is not a golden goose for Telugu industry. Sankranthi Raju, Summer Raju both gave their range flops. The difference is Dil Raju gave more freedom to director and gave a flop, whereas MS Raju took the freedom and gave a flop.
