So far the best goal I have seen is from brazil...i donno the player name but he got the ball in N koreas penalty box....i donno if the ball was passed too fast or he was slow to pick, it almost reaches the out line of Nkoreas end....and in that angle if he hit straight the ball is going to hit the side portion of net for sure....he some how manages to kick it in such a way it bends like a banana and it has just enough curve to carry it away from the goalie to stop n then swings back into the goal..and he did all in a rush..naaku mind block | ||

Slovenia, Serbia etc inavvi chinna deshaalu anukuntaam kaani they were all part of countries like Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia which were pretty much above average before the civil wars broke out they have the basic set up- scouts, coaches, system , strategy etc ...good to see that the fall of a bigger nation did not dilute quality but gave scope for the larger talent pool | ||

I think germany will be ok....they were dominating the group stage last year wat happened they got screwed in semis...so some jhalak here n there keeps them focussed but wish they tied rather than losing....but the problem is with all these good nations germany n portugal n england n spain if they finish second in their groups then we have to see arg vs eng or portugal vs ger or spain vs brazil in 2nd round knock outs which is not good...then it would become like 2002 world cup.... | ||

I was shocked to see serbia losing in first match as its a decent team as i remember....all these new baby nations like serbia n slovenia are blessed with some of the best soccer talent somehow....i read a book called how soccer explains the world n it talks a lot about wat soccer means to these nations...so was shocked to see them lose but iam more shocked to see germany losing today...but they were unlucky to miss a penalty...thats tragedy and podolski had more than 5 shots towards the goal which he missed...its just like one of those days that spain had now germany is having.... | ||
