Devi 70 MM A/C is the most talked theatre in Andhra Pradesh during 1990's, due to the excellent sound system it has. Devi 70MM A/C was located at Chikkadapalli, RTC X Roads at Hyderabad. Watching a movie at Devi is a memorable experience for patrons. Shiva, a trend setting movie of Yuva Samrat Akkineni Nagarjuna is having a stunning record of getting 85 days continuous housefuls during 1989. Narasimha Naidu, Nandamuri Balakrishna's block buster and trend setting movie has created an unbeatable record at Devi 70MM A/C by collecting an amazing 55.5 lakhs share for its full run of 175 days. Nagarjuna's Ninne Pelladatha movie is the first movie to collect more than one crore gross for any Telugu movie in a single theatre in AP, In that aspect Devi 70MM A/C is created a record of first one crore theatre. In the recent months after AP Govt took the bold decision of abolishing the slab system, Rajanikanth's block buster movie Chandramukhi amassed an amazing gross of 94 lakhs for its 100 days run. As per Maqsood, Chandramukhi is the last biggest crowd puller in the last 10 years at Devi 70MM A/C, as families and ladies throng to the theatre to catch the magic of Rajanikanth and enchanting performance of Jyothika. Probably this is the first movie that ran for 100 days after AP Govt abolished the slab system. Nagarjuna had created an unbeatable record of two silver jubilee movies at Devi 70MM A/C. These films are Annamaiah and Ninnepelladatha. Nagarjuna is also having another record of having 4 moives went on housefuls for 50 days. These are Hello Brother, Geetanjali, Shiva and Ninne Pelladatha. Among other releases this year, Pawan Kalyan's Gudumba Sankar has got share of 24.5 lakhs at Devi 70 MM A/C.
