The only movie in which I clapped was Rang De Basanti. People were clapping at the end of "happy days", I literally rolled my eyes. Vedam end up we didn't clap. I think I was too overwhelmed to clap - don't think of that as crying, it was just an inexplicable feeling. |

Hail_the_labour:hen why this encourage this type of business path. The director should have given a message right. not to take this path as its self-destructive
I don't think Anushka entered into this willingly. This movie is not a message oriented film. The director just showed lives of several peopel who all have several issues which we are all lucky to not have. It's up to individual viewers to get the message they want out of this film, which there are many. I don't know why director shouldn't be showing Anushka as a prostitute in the movie? It's not like prostitution doesn't exist in real world. And anyway at the end of the film she decides to quit this. |

Ipc302:i dont think the role of anushka was etched to create any sympathy....she has no remorse for being a prostitute and there shouldn't be any sympathy for her...
yeah, Anushka doesn't ask for anyone's sympathy. It's up to us to feel for her plight b'coz at the end of the day no one wants to have anything to do with a prostitute other than using her, some day she will die with an empty stomach and bunch of STDs. |

Guttonkay:Anushka was a total capitalist in this movie. She wanted to make big using hte one skill she has. You have to give it to her for being entrepreneurial, willing to take risks and wanting to grow big. This is exactly what they teach you to be in business school :-)
i liked the scene btween posani and anushka...simple ga economics use chesi pavala vaata ni cheppi tappinchu kuntundhi... i dont think the role of anushka was etched to create any sympathy....she has no remorse for being a prostitute and there shouldn't be any sympathy for her...the only peole who deserve sympathy in the movie are ramulu, his Daughter-in-law and the kid who needs to go to school.... I am a Leftist in economics area, and a rightist in nationalism area, surprisingly both the flavors I could find in this movie (villaer, bajpai).thread Villager story appudu aithe, I felt seeing a MAA BHOOMI or Bhadram Koduko type antharleenamga... aa Villager story ekkada tragedy chesthado ani bayapadi saccha. I was always worried about this oldman. ekkada mosa pothado ani. |

Cocanada:Kish kurrod communist ideology anukunna. But then again, he was supporting capitalism in Anushka thed
I read ur review and the long thread. I don't know if Krish is a communist but I don't think any part of the movie showed communist trends. To me the movie was just about common man and his daily life. Different people see different things in movies like this anyway. Anushka was a total capitalist in this movie. She wanted to make big using hte one skill she has. You have to give it to her for being entrepreneurial, willing to take risks and wanting to grow big. This is exactly what they teach you to be in business school :-) |

Anuskha: Hardly any remorseful on her face for the deeds. ----------------------------------------------------------- why should she? I am not saying she shouldn't but that's the only trade she knows and she is good at it and is proud as well. That's why she wants to start her own company and make her own money. If you didn't see her transformation in the end, then may be you did take a ciggy break :-) You know what bothered me most about Anushka in the movie - all that running around in the hospital, okka sari kooda kongu doppukodu. That's what any woman wearing a saree, running around pushing a whell chair would do. That was too glaring to me as a girl. |

I saw this movie with family and everybody had different opinions. Allu Arjun, Villager threads were interesting and gripping and almost whenever I see that part, I was always worried because The Villager will be exploited and how when was the question. Allu Arjun was good and ease at this kind of acting. Thank God the Director Gave Happy ending to Ramulu story. MM:The Movie Takes off Instantly with the start of a Rock Music song and I liked the way the Movie Introduction. Navadeep should have been better. atleast CHUNCHU moham pettaka poyyevadu. Till climax hardly viewer cares MM but suddenly he becomes a hero. perhaps too much raise above the bar. Anuskha: Hardly any remorseful on her face for the deeds. Karpooram gets max sympathy from my side. MBajpai: These kind of roles already telugu movies lo occhai. Pilli geddam, topi, iruku illu aa illulo 10 mandhi janam etc etc stuff typical routine stuff nothing new in this thread. neither entertains/nor gripping. This is a movie of 5 full length films lifted from various old telugu film themes and fit into 5 threads in a single movie and its not a easy job. Allu Arjun : 1/1 MM : 0.5/1 Villager : 1/1 Anuska : 0.75/1 Bajpai : 0.5/1 3.75/5. Above 45 years and Rural side can stay away from this movie. |
