my rating 4.5/5

I don't know anything about movie making...I can't evaluate a movie technically like wether screen play is good or not...i don't even know what screen play means..as an ordinary movie watcher vedam and prasthanam are the best movies in the last 2-3 years....In the first half of the movie i thought director could have choosen fresh faces for the movie but by the end of movie i have changed my opinion...AA and manoj excelled in their particular roles esp the last 30 min.......Anushka is ok but she could have done better..i felt she couldn't show the maturity and body language of a traditional prostitute...i could only see a class lady in her....coming to direction i felt director managed all the five story traks pretty well...dialogues are excellent....The old man and his daughter in law excelled in their roles.......Manoj Bajapai is ok but his role doesn't completely show the actor in him....all through the movie i could feel only roles not the actors.......To conclude this is a movie filled with human emotions, aspirations and tragedies in five different story tracks, the director managed all of them pretty well
