1.Serious Dialogues that sound like comedy 2. very long. 3. ranbir kapoor transformation is contrived. 4. white girlfriend sub plot is a waste of time 5. naseeruddin part is awkward 6. mahabharatha allusions are annoying, like looking to make the movie more credible by alluding to mahabharatha 7. Devgan looks old 8. Devgans long haired sidekick looks like a buffon 9. forced drama by having deaths every 20 mins for me the main positive were the technical aspects and the performances. | ||

how about the dialouge of jaast puthar? that was horrible ; the whole movie lost steam in second half it is more inspired from godfather, they just eliminate people one after other, Our telugu directors may get inspired and can make a faction movie with again, naa ishtam ...antha mee ishtam babu doraa | ||

Rajneeti: My Review (TPG) - Huge storyline - amazing star cast - excellent performances - very lengthy and tight script - manchi political drama/thriller serious movies & political interests unna vaalu will enjoy it. as many said its a good mix of Mahabharata & God Father Hats off to Prakash Jha on script, screenplay - must watch for this and must have a DVD. Performances: all were just too good. One guy who stands out and exceeded everyone is Ranbir Kapoor, watch this guy in the next 5-6 years!! Manoj, Nana, Arjun veelu andaru unnaa Ranbir still pulled it off.. Flaws: koncham too lengthy and last 15 min was little loose.. overall must watch.....perfect DVD movie..  my rating 4/5... just watch it for the performances!! Prakash Jha kurrod rocks!! (bhaari hindi dialogues unnayi - need a lot of concentration ) |
