a excatly that is where I felt so bored ( adding to mother jaast puthur dialogue) I was expecting some thing to happen in second half after the buildup, but it became very lame! too much liberty has been taken in the movie , like naseer, <--- mother was shown as radical to give a birth , but her role is nothing but radical kaif, ajay are completely wasted, manoj arjun rampal and ranbir are good naa ishtam ...antha mee ishtam babu doraa | ||

There is no doubt this movie is picturised on a grand scale, -------------- it is just the content wise the picutre goes down hill, the only way to win the election is to kill other person is shown one too many times, It just has political background , you can replece the background with mob/ factionist or family feud and you get the same basic skelton just same story with a different wrap naa ishtam ...antha mee ishtam babu doraa | ||

politics, correct ga chepparu , no songs and 3 hours movie ni interesting ga tiyyadam chala great..again this being mahabharata not surprised that it kept us entertained...damn the promos were totally misleading as well as the censor problems reported in the media | ||

Newguy sodara Actual gaa near 3 hours movie with no full length songs ante handle cheyatam kastam....but director oka 70% succeed ayyad anukuntunna! Nenu in general pure North Indian setting (Not MUMBAI....UP/MP/BIHAR etc) lo ochhe movies if they are from the likes of PRAKASH JHA, VISHAL liking sestha....and this being set somewhere in MP naaku baane anipinchindi! | ||

Ipc thammud Baa cheppav! NASEER full length roll lekapovatam big disppointment and yes....AJAY and his mom scene was trash! Coming to HINDI usage....if we need to mention two directors in Bollywood who use HINDI to the max in their movies one would be PRAKASH JHA and other VISHAL BHARADWAJ.... Overall I liked the movie for NANA, RANBHIR and to max extent even ARJUN, AJAY! Yes MANOJ ki unna talent ki inka baa set chesi undochhu! | ||

rajneeti-the director did a good job og retelling the mahabharataha story in the current political backdrop....apart from naseeruddin shah's character which was totally waste of his talent, the rest of the male characters did just OK... ajay devgan-did what was given to his caliber, the director made sure that he didnt get top billing just bcoz he is a bigger star nana patekar- well played but again he is capable of much much more..he did get some oneliners arjun pampal- didnt think he could act but did pretty well ranbir - this is the first movie , i watched and seems like he is going places and he got the author backed role manoj bajpai- his charcter not so well written....acted welll but he did a better job in vedham...here his makeup looks like chirus from INDRA katrina kaif- somebody stop her from acting...he was supposed to act in 2 decent scenes and she screwed up those The lady who played KUNTI's role- very good, we need more of such actresses than bimbettes like kaif the fisrt half is excellent trying to set up the roles but the second half looks a bit cliched and the climax not worthy of the first half set up... now come the negatives- excessive use of Pure hindi...man did the director screw up or what...the most important scene between ajay and his mother became a laugh riot in the theatre..people were howling at the dailogue and it can be used as a spoof...totally spioled the entire second half with this unintentional comedy.... the entire bomb blasts and killings by the lead characters are clciched...why do the big shot politicians have to pplace bombs or personally kill their enemies...climax was a big let down Overall rating-3.5/5 ...if u like political dramas watch this and u will not be let down | ||

The reason I say "Good for me" is...for me what ever number of times I read or watch Mahabharata on screen....it's kind of new and interesting! This movie RAJNEETI has a Karna, Duryodhan, Arjun, Kunti, Dhrutarastra.....above all SriKrishna!! Also may be a DharmaRaja (not exactly though)! Movie is near 3 hours with no full length songs.....and for most part the screenplay is good and engaging! +Ves: Ajay Devgan, Ranbhir Kapoor, Manoj Bhajpai did their rolls well.....and Arjun Rampal too was good to my surprise! NANA PATEKAR rocks as usual and most of the movie he keeps smiling, short 1 liners....and what not....he did excellant! -Ves: Naseeruddin Shah saab....I was very disappointed to see him in such a short roll! I went to see NANA and SHAH saab full length rolls but was disappointed to see short roll of Nasser! Katrina Kaif did not have much to do and she was pale and uninspiring! Overall....please watch this movie in theater if you understand HINDI well....otherwise it takes 30-40 minutes to figure out what's happening!! PRAKASH JHA's movies always have pure hindi with less usage of english! VA theatre had near 500 people watching the movie yesterday night 10:30PM show and seems like people overall enjoyed it! |
