me too. I will go tomorrow or next week. I am actually pained to see all the comparisions to crash or any other movie out there. He might have been inspired by them, but he made a movie that is apt for our current Telugu society, current situation. | ||

I wanted to make sure people in small cities where the desi movies only stays in theaters on weekends get to see Vedam movie. You will not be bored, you are either enjoying the song/dances or you are laughing (the humor wasn't vulgar or artificial) or you are going thro a variety of emotions depending on the scene. Intially I thought Manchu Manoj's charecter's transformation from someone selfish, not caring for anyone but himself and not wanting to follow families lineage of serving in the military to someone who would give up his dream to help someone and die in the process of helping others wasn't well etched. but I now feel it's actually well enough, considering the length of the movie IMHO Same with Manoj Bajpai's story. It showed all the required parts. It showed his transformation. The only that was not so good to me was Anushka's but overall her's was not half baked either. I have a big issue with the Raju's money woes. But I won't spoil it for anyone. All that can be wait for the detailed review another day. Go watch it. It's a paisa vasool movie. Kudos to Krish. | ||

Go watch it. Don't believe what anyone says. Don't compare it to crash (in which all stories are tied up a little too neatly in the end) or Babel (which wasn't that well made, but the individual stories are very good), but just watch if you want a good telugu movie. Well made, well acted. I loved the songs on audio, I liked them on screen also. Detailed review after I watch it second time. There are very flaws in the movie and I didn't take a single ciggy break. May be I will find more flaws on 2nd viewing. Watch it if you want 2 hours of good entertainment 4.5/5 |
