yes, american football is on the physical extreme but there is a hell lot to the game other than that ------------------------------------------------------------ -- what I like about american football is that it's constant strategizing game. Yes, it does feel boring that they spend hours just moving a ball yard to yard but once you get into it it's a lot of fun. The only thing I don't like about it how physical the game is, everyone piling on each other. Nothing beats NBA though. A lot more fun and exciting to watch compared to NFL or tennis or ice skating :-) | ||

I know u dont have anything against F1.....that was not my point...there is undoubtedly a personal flair element in every sport that makes it popular...the ease to learn is another...American Ball fails atleast on these 2 fronts...ease u know...but flair....man even rugby has a better flair quotient than this game...atleast there the ball is on the move most of the time either people in tandem or a guy driving it... I have seen no other sport so clumsy as american football...U move an inch ram and then 5 mins of clatter...then ram and then eventually hit it ......monsters ramming into each other...is such a ugly sight to behold.... look at football...I mean the panache of a messi, the intensity of a inzaghi...the craft of a deco and the razor precision of a raonaldinho...the beautiful game... look at Table tennis...the unnerving dynamicism of the sport...skill, precision, pace and extremely supple reflexes...same goes with tennis...cricket on many fronts is a very crude game and hence can never reach the audience of these kind of games....same with Kabaddi...a well played kabaddi game is just a treat....adhi strategy....same goes with volleyball...basketball | ||

@rajusk universal appeal antay how many people on your street actually play/follow F1 or Golf? genetically disposed antay u r being biased when in our cricket itself 6 foot plus fast bowlers stand to achieve more success than any1 else when you are watching the game, it is likely to focus on the central portion of the TV where you see all the heavy set players on both sides of the ball ignoring the top notch athletes on the field - wide receivers, cornerbacks, safeties etc...these guys usually are in top shape and can run real fast genetically disposed, racially inclined antay they should ban all sprint and running competitions too | ||
