Here is the Latest CNBC story. The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that BP's "top kill" effort may have failed because of a rupture in the well 1,000 feet below the ocean floor. The rupture made it imposible to create enough pressure within the well to force back and block off the gushing leak. | ||
