'YS Jagan can become CM if he follows Chenna Reddy'
The senior Congress leader, Jayanthi Natarajan is the second such leader to indicate that the Congress High Command is contemplating on taking action against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. She said that the Congress party gives importance to the party rather than the individual leaders like Jagan.If one person leaves the Congress party which has more than 100 years of history there will not be even a minuscule effect on the party indirectly giving the option for Jagan he can either leave the party at his will. This open statement against Jagan shows that YS Jagan's role in the Congress party is almost over and he can never gain the trust of the Sonia Gandhi, say the political analysts. In fact, if YS Jagan continues in the Congress party, he would continue receiving insults on daily basis and one has to see whether he will remain in the Congress party without paying heed to the insults on him. Meanwhile some political analysts say that YS Jagan has the best chance of becoming the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, this year itself, only if he follows the tactic used by the late Chenna Reddy. In the late 1960's he split the Congress party and in the elections, his party gained a lot of seats in the Telangana region and made Indira Gandhi bow before him and made him the CM after he merged his party with his parent Congress party. If YS Jagan forms his own party and brings down the Rosaiah's government, then there is every chance that his party would gain atleast some 30-40 MLAs especially in Kadapa, Chittor, Ananthpur, Kurnool, Khammam, guntur and Ongole districts. Sources say that his followers are contemplating on such an action as they could not bear the insults being unfurled on him on daily basis. Sonia Gandhi wants Chandrababu Naidu to become the CM' Yes, you heard it right. It maybe the most outrageous thing. Why would the Congress' chief want Chandrababu Naidu to become the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh? According to the Congress sources, the UPA chairperson has discussed whether going to polls in Andhra Pradesh and letting Chandrababu Naidu become the CM would help the Congress party in the long run. Already the Rosaiah's government has earned a negative image and whoever becomes the CM in his place, whether Jagan, Marri Sashidar Reddy, Jana Reddy etc would not be able to salvage the lost popularity.  In such case, the Congress is likely to fare badly in the 2014 MP elections in Andhra Pradesh. The party is likely to lose very badly and this in turn would scuttle the chances of Rahul Gandhi's PM chances. If the Congress calls for midterm polls and let Chandrababu become the CM, then by 2014 a lot of anti-incumbency is likely to work against him since he too would be beset by the same problems that Rosaiah is facing like bad financial condition in AP, Telangana agitation, rollback of the YSR's welfare schemes etc. So if CBN becomes the CM, then the party would fare a lot better in the 2014 elections in Andhra Pradesh.
