Our own insurance will cover the car, if you have deductible it will be covered by some of the cards. American express has rental insurance plan, they charge 19 and it is good for 30 days. this option is good only if you planing to rent for 3 days or more. Not all cards cover this. My platinum visa cover only the deductible. Ofcourse each insurance company is different.. each insured package is different.. state state ki different.. so better call your insurance and ask all sorts of questions.. In this db, there's always someone watching you!!  | ||

Truelies, nee own insurance tho rental lo cover ayyedi only Liability (as far as I know). So nuvvu vere vaadini gudithey aa vehicle or personal injuries nee insurance cover chesthundi. Nee rental car ki damage jarigithe most of the times your insurance won't cover it (better verify it with your insurance co.). Kaani, Platinum Visa (may be mastercard too) untey, daanitho rental teesukuntey, nee rental car ki damages covered under that (with some deductible, of course). I know many people who rented this way and one guy who damaged the car and his CC company paid for that. Own car insurance should be enough anukuntaa if you have full insurance and min deductible as 500. I use my own insurance[GEICO] every time and use platinum credit card so that if some thing happens, it will cover our 500 deductible.. so set matter.. However, if theres an accident auto insurance donot cover vehicle depreciation, loss of rental days. Ivi maname ettukovaali. But GEICO and Enterprise has a tieup and they dont charge. Ofcourse, depends on the vehicle and the extent of the damage. If you rent bigger vehicle, I would advice to take car rentals insurance. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! | ||
