Truelies:lg bd570 tho idi compatible avuthundi kada? to stream videos...
they are totally different. Ex 490/495 are servers which host the video and stream to multiple clients (like bg570). BD570 is client (dlna player) which plays streaming video from a server (like ex). |

Simba:When videos are copied to server, it queues them up for transcoding into one or more formats (as configured) which pegs one processor core all the time. The other core is used for OS, streaming, data back-ups etc. You may see some CPU throttling if you go with single core celeron.
so, 495 best antara? www.prajarajyam.org - syntax error, unexpected |

Truelies:the only difference I see is, 490 celeron with 2.2 Ghz, where as 495 is pentium dual core 2.5 ghz, and 490 is 1TB, 495 is 1.5TB.
I am not worried about storage. You can add as many hard disks (at cheaper) later. But, the dual core pentium comes in use for transcoding. When videos are copied to server, it queues them up for transcoding into one or more formats (as configured) which pegs one processor core all the time. The other core is used for OS, streaming, data back-ups etc. You may see some CPU throttling if you go with single core celeron. |
