England is a good side....now....after centuries of tea time cricket....i think.... vallu.....ikkada...piccha strict chesaru.....play 6-7 tests in summer in england and every two yrs.....got o subcontinent.....alterenate year play with aussies and SA...... vela test team....is giving good results because of this.....they never got grips with shorter format...but now they are creeping slowly.... okappudu.....england antey....joke.....but ECB.....has taken good steps.....to play them worldwide....and super rest isthunnaru...... mav other than aussies no other team has a realistic semis spot all teams need to evaluate and come up with a better road map india - yes, you are going to play on raina's fav pitches,but koncham ayina juice unna pitch lo who are you going to depend on...give more chances to rohit, kohli than pathan, jadeja and co. keep nehra and zak in good shape...accept it or not there are no better death bowlers in india than them. find another quick, maybe a vinay kumar or PK for supporting act. and pray that tendu hits his world cup form where he scores in abundance till semis SA- team has gotten old, with gibbs, bouchie, out of form smith etc. SL - ride heavily on mahela and sanga...but if they can follow ranatunga type of roadmap, they can easily make it to semis NZ - tough ask for them to sustain levels in a long tourney WI - minimal outside chance PAK - disarray but u never know, if they smell blood the will go for the kill...problem is keeping their noses clean enough to smell ENG - actually, i fancy the current side. they got good tidy spinners. if their seamers bowls with variation, they can easily get into semis | ||
