Gossip: Talk Behind 'Vedam' Postponement The most talked about film ‘Vedam’ was due for release on the 20th but it has now been postponed to the 27th. Though technical reasons are being quoted, there are some other reasons due to which the delay has happened, as per industry sources. Apparently, May 20th happens to be the birthday of Manchu Manoj. So it is heard that Allu Arjun thought twice. If ‘Vedam’ releases that day, then there is a risk of Manoj promoting the film as a birthday gift from Krish. Due to this, the cine folks say that Allu Arjun tried all methods in the book to ensure that the film gets postponed. Just to ensure that the film release gets delayed, it is said that Allu Arjun used delay tactics for the shooting of a song featuring him. It is reported that recently, the balance part of the song was shot on Allu Arjun and his leading lady Deeksha Seth. One can recall the incident during the ‘Vedam’ audio release function when Allu Arjun stated that the editor Shravan had a real tough time trying to cut down the egos of both the stars than the film itself. The flip side is that collection king Mohan Babu is said to be breathing fire and hitting the roof. It is heard that he is not very happy with the postponement which was due on his son’s birthday.
