These are my thoughts after watching SIMHA. SIMHA is the movie which enthralls the audience with chillly(sharp) fights and it has all the ambience dished out enough for a MASS film liking cine-goers. Somewhere there is a 'MASS' in everybody and they have to Activate it to enjoy this...kind.. Mass means Mass anthe, I enjoyed the Rickhavodu type ERRA THOLU, GUDDxhaava GuxddhaLedhu GuxDhhaledhu type of movies... after-all its a movie and it means for a entertainment and not for a social message .. esp in US(dollar) Gone are the days where I used to watch Muddula Mavayya, Muddula Menalludu,Bala Gopaludu,Nari Nari,Lorry Driver,Thalli-Tandrulu,Aditya-369,DharmaKshethram,Rowdy- Inspector,Aswamedham,Nippu-Ravva,Bangaru Bullodu(twice) and the likes... I stopped after that... again NARASIMHA NAIDU(2001) --> 2010(Simha) Coming to Movie aspect : Credits to Balakrishna (Meesala) looking fresh and very controlled balanced dialogue delivery. Credit to Boyapati for taking a very risky theme (starting to ending same theme nothing new and no twists) Production Values: Good. Namitha: Kustha Bahar Khushbhu ni gurthuku tecchindi... Jokes Gang : Average. Brahmi&jhansi: sucks and rot.. Naintara : Good Presentation of her,decently. FlashBack part: Violence,fights is justified and NBk performance is good,Meesala balayya is looking very fresh. 1st Half(has a missing factor) : There are lot of fights in sequence and it will not connect with non-fans/general audience. Missing factor: I think this is the 'ONE' which is missing: Revenge & quench to drink the blood of the villians. remember a scene in mudulla-mavayya where the villain(Anandraj alias 'GAJA') ties-up a villager to CART lifts it up and put a BANDA under it and his wife catches to support the cart.. then the villain goes and catch her ...TUMMY molesting her. or CSR where the family is slit&hacked to death in disguise of marriage function.. such cruilty is not shown from the villains side... there by diluting the satisfaction in 1st half fights.. Fighting characters vs nbk, characters telipoyyaru.. Audience should feel to seek revenge and in the 1st half its missing... After a series of flops year to year, nBK box-office stamina is once again to be proved intact... Kudos to him and fans..to be proud of.. Rating Fans: 3.75/5 , they got exactly what they wanted nicely dished out.. General Public: 3.25/5 1 time oook balayya acting skills and powerful dialogues only..rest is nothing in movie..2 songs are average-good. Decent,Posh 'yo' 'yo' batch and sensitive-ladies.. Avoid it Bottom-Line: HAIL_THE_LABOUR HAIL_THE_MASS |
