Lehman meltdown did not trigger collapse. It is Part of Collapse.

BTW : What is the Striking diff you find in ECONOLMY from 2008 Begi and Now ?
1. People started spending more freely on retail (if not in full swing)
2. Forecloseures halted. due to differals and restrucutring
3. Unemployment still remains the same (no so severe)
4. No of Entities of Each Company are reduced (trimmed), so that existing entities become more profitable
5. Slowly these is a thowing in the funding freeze from IT Customer
6. People saved a while for a year are now spending

How sustainable this economy without Govt Help ???

The last time the bellwether index closed above the psychologically significant 11,000 threshold was on September 26, 2008, days after the collapse of Wall Street investment bank Lehman Brothers triggered a global financial meltdown that led to global recession.
