I don't know where she will be on blake lane, but this is waht she could do to get to gallows road.

take cue bus to vienna metro
take orange line metro train to gallows road

There are metro buses that go from fairfax to merryfield/dunn loring but the frequency is not that good.

If she just got a job and moving to another apartment is an option ask her to look merryfield apartments. Lots of desis there.
