We are partnered with Microsoft.....so we will get discounts on SMS......I need to check with Symantec sales guys about Altris pricing ..... Here my client is implementing Oracle ERP..........Does any deployments tools are specific to ERP Softwares..? Any idea ? | ||

Yes, Microsoft Systems Management Server. Widely used in big enterprises. Wall st fin firms ayithe they develop their own custom solutions or customize vendor products. As king said, Altiris is another good one. If you want a cost effective model then use Altiris only for packaging and then use AD (active directory) group policies to deploy the software. Bro, SMS is widely used and it is cost effective whereas Altiris is the latest and more robust tool which gives you high level view of all the machines and manages them besides deployment | ||

Guys, One of my client told they are looking for some deployment tool like HP PPM. I need to evaluate the best deployment tools available in market and go with POC for that client.
