Jewelery shop is fine but not abson imports. Take her to SONA Jewelers if she wants to buy any gold/diamond related stuff. Thanks again.. I am looking only for andhra/hyderabadi cuisine.. non veg is better but could try veg aswell.. North Indian and other cuisines are plenty here aswell in our city.. Will checkout patel brothers complex.. it sounds like quite a handy for an outsider like me with all the things under one roof.. cool. I came across one hair salon for kids: KidzKuts.. Will give them a call and book an apoointment.. | ||

Are you guys veg or non-veg? And what kind of food are you looking for? South indian, north indian, indo-chinese? From Bridgewater - Drive to North Brunswick (exit 10 from I287 - easton ave - demott lane - Rt 27) You can find lots of indian restaurants, indian grocery stores along RT 27. Check out the BIG patel brothers complex on 27. You will find one decent andhra restaurant (ABHIRUCHI), Indo-chinese-Thai resturant, Desi Salon, Patel brothers, India music shop etc all in one complex. If you are a biryani fan (non-veg), try out Paradise Biryani Point on 27 (less than a mile from above said Patel brothers) There is also another south indian restaurent on 27 called - Balaji Express. Good andhra food. None of the above said restaurants have exotic ambiance but food is good. If you get to go to edison, then try following restaurants: RASOI - Best and top restaurant in jersey. But it is a north indian restaurant. We have been going to this place for more than 4-5 years now and quality of food didn't change a bit. You can also get good indo-chinese items here. Nanking - Indo Chinese. Good food. But self service. MING - Pure indo-chinese restaurant. Excellent food and ambiance but very expensive. Waiting time can be more than 30 mins during weekends. MITHAS - Excellent place to try some snacks, chat items and sweets. Sejal's famous pizza - Extraordinary pizzas designed to suit our taste. Waiting time can be more than 45 mins during weekends. If you want some good parathas or pav bhaji try DIMPLE. But for grocery shopping i would strongly suggest you to try Patel Brothers at north brunswick. It is as big as edison shops (if not bigger) but they maintain it clean and not too crowded. Easy to get parking. If god doesn't like the way I live, let him tell me, not you | ||

Welcome to Jersey. Yes, bridge water temple lo full tonsure cheyaru. Mana desi salons chaala vunnayi jersey lo so you can pick any of them. Temple ki 12 miles distance lo North Brunswick ki vachaaru ante there are couple of good desi salons. Aa area lo less than 1 mile radius lo you can find at least 10 desi restaurants (3-4 south indian among them). Or you can head to edison from temple (20-25 mins drive). But during weekends edison lo parking, salons lo waiting times, restaurant lo waiting times chaala ekkuva vundochu... let me know if you need more info or need restaurant suggestions. Well! My destination changed from Pittsburgh to Bridgewater NJ. The purpose is to visit the temple to offer Hair offering for my kid. Now, questions to NJ residents: Temple says they will do only three cuts and I need to find an outside barber shop to do the full tonsure. We would like to go with full tonsure. Are there any barber shops nearby to the temple who knows sensibilities of us, desis, and kids? I guess I need not worry about availability of authentic andhra food.. I am preparing myself for a culinary feast for the two days and depending on what I see I might extend my stay for another day.. pointers to andhra style restaurents near to the temple will be appreciated much.. Right now, the plan is as follows: Friday: Start 5am Cross border at 6am Shop at Crossgates mall, Albany NY. Lunch at one of those North indian/paki restaurents in Albany. Reach Bridgewater around 5pm Friday. Invade a south indian restaurent for dinner. Stay at hotel on Friday night. Saturday: Hair offering at temple on Saturday. Lunch at south indian restaurent Rest/AOB Dinner at South Indian restaurent. Stay at hotel on Saturday Night Sunday: Breakfast at South Indian Restaurent. Rest/AOB Lunch at South indian Restaurent Grocery shooping at oak tree road Dinner at south indian restaurent Varudu movie Rest/AOB Monday: Checkout by 11 Bye Bye NJ. |
